A New Leaf Publications (“ANLP”) although not technically an MA World Services Committee, ANLP operates like one in many respects.
- Serves as the publishing department of MA World Services and born out of the fellowship’s desire to carry its spiritual message though print and other media to the addict who still suffers
- Oversees and administers the publication, distribution, and business of MA literature and publications for the purpose of carrying the message of recovery and service to the society of MA and entities outside of MA
- Responsible for MA literature after its creation, facilitating the process of getting MA literature into the hands of members and the addict who is still suffering
- Obtains and selects content for, and publishes and distributes MA’s monthly literary newsletter, A New Leaf, and the Daily Dose email with each day’s reflection from Living Every Day with Hope, and hosts a monthly Writing Workshop
- Encourages Districts/Regions to select an ANLP Liaison as a District Officer to facilitate communication between members of their District and ANLP
- Keeps the spiritual message of recovery separate from financial and property concerns, as a DBA or “doing business as” of MA World Services
- Organized under the requirements set forth in the ANLP Charter (Appendix I, Service Manual 8.1) and the ANLP Best Practices which is under development through the ANLP Steering Committee
