Internet Trustee Description
- Chair Internet Committee meetings, coordinating with committee members, District Webmasters, and relevant Special Workers.
- Supports the Chair of the Website Redesign subcommittee for ongoing improvement efforts for the MA Websites.
- Proactively develops new ways to use information technology and enhance MA’s online presence to carry the message to the addict who still suffers.
- Reports website, app, and digital platform statistics to the MA World Service Board of Trustees.
- Work with volunteers, other Trustees, and Special Workers to maintain an up to date database of meeting’s authorized contacts on MA’s meeting finder; identify meetings that are no longer happening and ensure they are removed from the meeting finder; communicate with meetings registered with MA’s meeting finder regularly to ensure their information remains accurate and up to date, e.g. meeting time and place, and meeting contact information.
- Works in Collaboration with Special Workers to:
- Manage World Services’ internet properties including websites, mobile app(s), and database of worldwide meetings.
- Ensure that Internet Service Providers, e.g. hosting, payment processing, and code repositories are a competitive value.
- Maintain access credentials for World Services’ internet properties, including website, database, service providers, codebase repositories, and app store accounts.
- Act as secondary liaison to the Webmaster, with primary support from the General Manager.
