Literature Committee
The World Services Literature Committee is responsible for working with members to revise, draft, and recommend literature for approval at the Conference.
Current Goals:
- Revise the Life with Hope Workbook to include questions about the Traditions.
- Update existing MA pamphlets: Stories for Teens; What About CBD?; Beginning Meditation; Why H&I Panels?; combine Intro to MA and Working the Program; and more!
- Collaborate with Growth in Service to create a new pamphlet “About Service” pamphlet.
- Support the creation of new pamphlets, such as: LGBTQIA+; Stories from Spanish-speaking members (Español); BIPOC (Stoners of Color); Veterans & First Responders; Stories from the Inside (H&I)

The Members Stories Project Subcommittee is actively working on assembling a future book of MA member stories with the goal of shedding light on stories of recovery that may not always be told. This includes: detoxing, CHS, identity (gender, racial, religious, sexual), mental health, psychosis, seeking sobriety during different stages of life, cross addiction and support from other 12-Step fellowships.

Workbook Revision Subcommittee –

The Life with Hope 12 Step Workbook was published in 2009 and has not been updated since. Members felt that it would be beneficial for us to review and revise the current 12 Step questions and to include new material for the 12 Traditions.
Our goal is to spend 1-3 months on each Workbook chapter (Step, Tradition, etc.). We will discuss them as a group and use our time together to gather group conscience on the proposed changes.
Everyone is welcome regardless of sobriety time or progress through the steps. Your suggestions and opinions matter!
