Did you know there is a separate 12-Step program for those affected by another person’s marijuana use? Join MA for an Introduction to Mar-Anon Family Groups. Sponsored by Marijuana Anonymous World Services Newcomer Committee, the event will include personal stories from Mar-Anon members, followed by Q&A.

ANLP Creative Writing Workshop: 1st Saturday each month
Writing is a powerful tool for recovery that can help us process experiences, better understand our feelings, and experience growth in all areas of our lives. it is through our shared experiences as recovering addicts that we support ourselves and the newcomer. Meet with us monthly to discuss our recovery and creativity, engage in writing exercises and share our work. We will share tips about the writing process, provide prompts, and time for sharing! MAD 8 Recovery Climbing Sesh
Join us for a Marijuana Anonymous meditation + shares meeting followed by a relaxed group rock climbing session at Brooklyn Boulders LIC. This gathering is open to all levels of climbers, including first-timers. We’ll begin in a reserved space with a short meditation and time for voluntary shares, creating a grounded container before moving into climbing together. After the meeting portion, we’ll climb at our own pace. Supportive, informal, and pressure-free.
Details:
- Reserved space for meditation + shares
- Open climbing session (self-guided)
- Gear rental included for non-members
- This is a non-smoking, non-using MA fellowship event
- Come as you are- Climb, connect, and recover together
What to bring:
- Comfortable clothes to move in
- Water
- Climbing shoes if you have them (rentals available)

Marijuana Anonymous UK Convention
The first ever MA UK Convention will be held in Birmingham on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th July 2026. We have the beautiful ‘Old Library’ as our venue and a full and varied itinerary including a wide variety of speakers, topic meetings and a holistic activity room. There will be dancing on Saturday evening and a Sunday clean time countdown. We will be welcoming visitors from both near and far, with full facilities, meeting rooms and plenty of local amenities.
