Our Literature
Good quality literature is one of the most important service responsibilities of MA. Literature is how we as members can help carry the message of recovery. Our literature allows us to share our stories and also find ours as we read others. Find our identity as addicts in recovery by reading recovery literature and find the support that we need to thrive.

What is conference-approved literature?
The term “Conference-approved” is defined as approval of a Work for publication and distribution. This term shall usually be followed by a noun or noun phrase (such as Literature, Audio PSAs, Video PSAs, etc.) that appropriately describes the media associated with the Work and/or the intended purpose of the Work (any artistic work or composition including, but not limited to, text, graphics, audio, and/or video).
What happens to MA literature after it is Conference-approved?
Once literature is Conference-approved A New Leaf Publications oversees and administers the publication, distribution, and business of MA World Service literature sales. A New Leaf Publications (ANLP) is the publishing department of Marijuana Anonymous World Services (MAWS), a California nonprofit corporation. ANLP was formed out of the fellowship’s desire to carry its spiritual message though print and other media to the addict who still suffers. As a DBA or “doing business as” of MA World Services, ANLP keeps the spiritual message of recovery separate from financial and property concerns.
