 Qualifications

  • Two years of sobriety from marijuana and all mind-altering chemicals
  • Working knowledge of the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, and The Twelve Concepts for Service in Marijuana Anonymous

Job Responsibilities

The Content Editor is one of two A New Leaf Editors (along with the Design Editor), whose term is for one year from the time they are selected. An Editor may not serve more than two consecutive terms as an editor but may serve as an executive director subsequent to serving as an editor.

The Editors have primary discretion as to the selection and editing of articles printed in ANL, as well as the general design and layout of ANL. BOTH editors will be involved in the selection of articles for publication and will have input on whatever editing is done to submitted articles.

The Content Editor maintains contact with ANLP Liaisons from the Districts to collect articles, local events, and “birthdays.” Additionally, the Content Editor works in concert with MAWS to publicize the various MAWS events, such as the annual MA Conference and the annual Convention.

Volunteer estimated time requirement: 3 to 6 hours/month
